Email is the way to reach the team behind this guide: contact@19216811ip.co. Messages go to the 19216811ip.co Editorial Team. We can't promise a reply within a set time, but clear, detailed messages are much easier to act on.

Details that help us help you

Router questions are hard to answer blind. If you can, include:

  • your router's brand and model number, usually on the label underneath
  • the address you typed, such as 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
  • what appeared instead of the login page, with any error message copied word for word
  • what you've tried so far, like a second browser, another device or a restart

Please leave passwords out. We never need your admin or Wi-Fi password, and it's best not to email them to anyone.

Reporting a mistake in the guide

Name the section that's wrong and describe what your equipment showed instead. We check each report against the manufacturer's or operating-system maker's own documentation. If it holds up, we correct the guide and move its "Last updated" date forward. Our editorial standards page explains the full process.

What's outside our reach

We publish a guide. We don't run a help desk with access to your hardware, so a few things aren't possible:

  • We can't sign in to your router or recover a forgotten password for you.
  • Account, billing or line problems belong with your internet provider, since only they can see your service.
  • A router that won't power on or keeps failing is a job for the manufacturer's support team.

Many login problems can be fixed from your own desk. The troubleshooting checklist in the guide is a good first stop, and it takes only a few minutes to work through.
